The Academy in Basingstoke is the Largest English Pool Club in the WORLD with 31 pool tables (Includes Private VIP Room). We also have 12 Snooker Tables (Includes 3 Match Tables) and 10 Dart Lanes with Electronic Scorers.

The club not only offers extensive facilities in Snooker, Pool and Darts but is also England’s Number 1 Social Club with Great Entertainment and Great Drink Prices to suit all, with a Large Beer Garden. Plus watch more than one channel at a time with ALL Sports on Sky to view on any of our 75 TV’s which includes a Large HD Projector Screen.

At Basingstoke’s Premier Club, there is always a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere that welcomes New and Old Members with Guests of all ages.

All hours can be extended as the venue holds a 24 hour Licence at the discretion of the Management.

There is not a strict dress code, although vests are not allowed

Last entry to the club is 10pm every evening

Children (under 18’s) are allowed in the club until 8pm unaccompanied and until midnight when accompanied by an adult

The club is home to 12 Snooker Tables including 3 Match Tables and 30 Pool tables which are all regularly re clothed to ensure you get the best quality game.

There is waitress service available throughout the day and night so no need for you to interrupt your game to top up your drink or order some food.

When Live Snooker is on the matches are shown on our 12 flat screen TV’s which are situated around the club including in the Snooker and Pool halls.

Don’t worry if you don’t have your own Cue as there are plenty to hire at the club for a £1 fee and also a range of new stylish Cue’s and accessories for you to purchase. We also offer a Cue tipping service for only £8 and will aim for your Cue to be ready to collect within 24 hours.

The club supports local Pool and Snooker teams and often there are matches on up the club which provide a great, fun atmosphere whilst watching some great players!

Members; please note, opening hours can be extended at the sole discretion of the management.

Club Rules:

Dress code: Smart / Casual, No vests.

All members guests to be signed in by a member. All guests must show ID.

Members under 18 cannot sign guests into the club.

All members guests must vacate the premises when the member leaves. No unattended guests can remain after the member has left.

Maximum of 2 guests per member in a 24 hour period.

Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult after 8pm.

Under 18’s are not allowed on the premises after midnight.

All members are responsible for the conduct of their guests while on the premises.

Any function requested by a member i.e. birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, etc. must be cleared by management giving 28 days notice and supply a list of persons attending. Event hours can be extended on Fridays and Saturdays, but please note live music must end at 2am.

No beverages or food can be brought into the premises.

Any person caught in possession of these items will be asked to leave and forfeit their membership. If the person is a guest, the member signing the person in will also be asked to leave and will forfeit their membership. NO EXCEPTIONS.

CCTV is in operation inside and outside the premises which is kept recorded for no less than 28 days.

Due to high demand, if memberships are over subscribed a full refund will be given.

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT OF ADMISSION AT ALL TIMES.
